    Counterpoint Splendor: Medieval & Renaissance Music with Alex Raykov, Alexander Korolov & Friends

    7 PM  Genuine virtuosos, Raykov and Korolov's music--played on period instruments with homemade silk strings--transports listeners to a time centuries past when music heard directly without amplification or digital enhancement was the norm of the day.

    Stuart Fuchs, Ukulele Master and Teaching Artist, in Concert

    7 PM    Stuart Fuchs has been called “a modern day Pied Piper” (Buffalo News).  He plays a wide variety of styles of music on acoustic guitar and ukulele, including folk, classical, jazz, rock, experimental, sacred and world music.  He also plays Latin percussion, Bolivian charango, Australian didjeridoo, Native American flute, Tibetan singing bowls, and yes—hunting calls and amplified toys. Expect an inspiring evening of serious fun.

    Chase Loomer, Organist, in Concert

    ​5 PM   Chase Loomer’s prodigious interpretive talent and virtuosic technique on organ and piano have brought him awards and recognition throughout his young life.  Chase will be playing on an Opus II organ created by master organ builder Bill Visscher, a replica of the organ on which Handel conducted The Messiah.

    The music of Chase Loomer will most assuredly take listeners to an exalted realm!

    Around the Campfire: Sing-Along and S'Mores with Barb Heller

    7 PM  Grab the kids and power down the digital devices!  Enjoy the simple pleasure of shared song, led by Barb Heller, host of North Country Public Radio's popular weekly music program, String Fever.  Barb's program combines original compositions with songs that most everyone knows and loves to sing as she accompanies herself on acoustic guitar.  If the weather cooperates, we'll conclude with S'mores around the campfire.

    Cost: Bring an item for the Hammond Area Food Pantry, or a cash donation in any amount.

    Astral Harps: Janet and Kevin Witman

    5 PM   Astral Harps is an exciting multimedia event combining amazing astro-photography with stellar harp playing!  Kevin, astrophotographer and planetarium operator/lecturer at the North Museum and Lancaster, PA, will illustrate the wonders of the universe through visual images of space using his own photos and those of the Hubble Space Telescope.  Janet, a nationally awarded harpist, principal harpist in two orchestras and director of the Brandywine Harp Orchestra, has arranged and composed harp music to enhance the experience with such hits as “Moondance”, “Stairway to Heaven” and “What a Wonderful World”.  This is a ‘stellar’ inspirational and educational

    opportunity for adults and children alike!

    Atkinson Family Band, in Concert... The... Best... Bluegrass... Ever!!!

A genuine musical family born and brought up in the North Country, rooted in country and bluegrass musical traditions, the Atkinsons have increased the repertoire with their original compositions.  As the Atkinson Family Band’s music moves the heart, their skill inspires admiration and their banter invites their listeners into their larger musical family.
