The concerts of 2022 open with a musical journey through Latin America and close with beloved American bluegrass. In between, we will travel back in time to hear music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods played with extraordinary musicianship on period instruments; we ourselves will sing and play along in a traditional folk music jam; we will be elevated, consoled, inspired and healed with the music of the harp and we will stomp our feet to irresistible American roots fiddle music!
Listeners are invited to ask questions of the performers and see their instruments at close hand.
ALL TICKETS: $10 with the exception of Barb Heller's Sing & Play Along Jam.
All children 12 and under listen for free. All high school students attending as a school assignment listen for free. No one is to be turned away.
The Yellow Barn Concert Series 2022 is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, in collaboration with Chippewa Bay Community Club, with the support of the Office of the Governor and at the New York State Legislature, administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
